PM lashes ministries for arrears in targeted investment programs
MOSCOW, Mar 21 (PRIME) -- Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev rapped the government on the hands on Thursday for lagging behind the plan of federal targeted investment programs.
“The situation is not terribly good, this is what I want to say. Dear colleagues, I am addressing the ministries and other authorities, their directors, all reasons for delay must be eliminated, otherwise I will see this as your inability to cope with the process. We need to keep a good pace of fulfillment of the federal targeted investment program,” Medvedev said.
He said that space corporation Roscosmos fulfilled its targeted investment tasks in 2018 worse than in 2017. He said that 217 facilities were launched, a little more than half of the plan.
In general, financing amounted to 740 billion rubles, or 82% of the plan, also worse than in 2017.
Medvedev also asked the ministers to prepare draft law amendments to simplify allocation of investment.
“The process of investment allocation for the projects must be easier and more transparent, of course, so that its implementation becomes quicker,” Medvedev said.
“This is a proposal to change legislation. I also expect the proposals from you.”
